RE: Seamless transfer to new administrator

As you may be aware, Resolution Health Medical Scheme has been in the process of accepting tenders for the appointment of a new Administrator and Managed Healthcare Provider.

Following a transparent process which was overseen by actuarial firm Fifth Quadrant, a decision was made on 6 November 2009 by the Board of Trustees of the Scheme to appoint Agility Global Health Solutions as the preferred bidder. Agility is committed to providing superior services to its clients and it is this synergy with RHMS, which has created an ideal environment for them to provide Managed Healthcare and Administration for the Scheme.

Due to the nature of the transaction, an agreement has been reached which will see the seamless transfer of administrative and managed healthcare services from the old Administrator, Resolution Health (Pty) Ltd to Agility Global Health Solutions This in essence means that the change of Administrator and Managed Healthcare Provider will have no effect on the members of the Scheme and it will be business as usual.

There will be no change in location, staffing or technological systems and business will continue on a going concern basis. You are assured of the continued financial and structural stability and strength of Resolution Health Medical Scheme, its strong reserves despite low contribution increases for 2010, and can be confident that the arrival of Agility will further enhance the already exceptional service delivery to members.
